Personally, I think pregnant women are the most extraordinary women in the world….ok, scratch that, I have to give that title to all the mothers out there but aside from dealing with all the other aspects of pregnancy, I just really admire pregnant women who still take the time to care about their appearance while they are big as a tent and moody as hell. Yeah, celebrities get it easy with all their stylists and assistants and such but I’ve seen normal woman waddling around who are just as rediculously beautiful and I can’t help but think being a chick magnet is just one of the perks of pregnancy; seriously, pregnant people get all the attention from other women! lol

My boyfriend on the other hand, thinks pregnant people are unattractive…wtf? If at some point I am to become pregnant how the hell am I suppose to feel knowing he thinks that? He actually wants kids surprisingly enough and I’m pretty sure when the time comes he’ll bust out with a, “well, you’re the exception” but maybe not even….guess we’ll just have it delivered by stork, yup, it’s settled then.

Seriously though, I’m looking forward to pregnancy; I’ll be one of those people who do things like this and document every minute of it. Another great idea, and my older sister did this, is she had baby journals for each child and she would consistently write in them throughout her pregnancies and for the next 3-5 years after or so (yeah, the eldest is 13yrs now I believe…ugh, bad auntie!) I still read it sometimes when I am over because they are timeless keepsakes and I am sentimental like that. =D

I remember a particularly sad yet darling entry about my nephew, who was just a toddler at the time. She had written he had complained his tummy hurt but that he continued being interested in his favorite show Blue’s Clues, which was a good sign, except he wasn’t running around like he normally did and of course when kids act out of their nature, you just know something is wrong. So anyways she was monitoring him and doing errands around the house when he came up to her and asked her for a band aid for his tummy…*tears, so of course she took him to the doctor after that and he ended up having to have his appendix removed=( but how very like a child to give you such clarity in so simple and innocent a way. I can totally see why most children are the light of their parents lives.

I’d love to put up pics of family and friends who are or have been pregnant but me thinks they doth protest too much so I’ll just have to post up ones of celebrities who have shown that pregnant women can be just as sexy and glamorous. I love the outfit on Halle Berry below, boobilicious, another pregnancy perk…whoohoo! Some people actually enjoy being pregnant, imagine that! =D
