Holiday splendor at South Coast Plaza
The mall is always a good place to go when you’re bored and don’t want to shop; you can go there for other reasons, I kid you not. I didn’t feel like shopping but I did feel like taking pictures and the mall had the perfect theme to shoot too. Aaah, the mall, an ideal beauty.

This Christmas tree looks magnificent reaching the equally attractive colored glass dome ceiling.
The Christmas display is simply astounding; you have a small village at the base of the trunk, two Santas rounding out the middle (as they surely are quite round in the middle), a delightful host of Christmas characters set into the main part of the tree, and a lovely snow globe topper.

Some more neat-o decorations: the snow flakes projected on the wall is pretty darn cool and so is the lighted skybridge.
