I was not expecting the bf to do anything for Valentine’s day so he totally caught me by surprise by sending me lovely pink roses! And the best part of all was the card!

I didnt get flowers this year =( , maybe its the fact that when we started dating he kept on gettin me pink/orange roses for every mth for the past 4mths of dating each other at the beginning!
I was hoping to get red roses for vday but the bf thinks red roses are corny =( instead he got me a Louis vuitton key holder thinking it was more practical that all my keys were kept in place!

Man, a couple of years ago when my ex’s didnt get me the right colour roses for vday i cracked it hard! I rem this one time when an ex brought me yellow roses for vday, i was like,”yellow roses mean friendship, dont u love me??” i rem he went out and brought a dozen long stem red roses bcoz i was in tears thinking he didnt love me but then later on realized their was a box of red roses in the car when he drove me to dinner!!! And think about it, vday is where they all double their price in flowers! He must of spend 400 back then on just flowers at 18!
I guess this year my partner made a wise choice in spending money on something that would last… but i still rather flowers and a card.. its alot more thoughtful…. ok im lying, i want flowers, cards and something LV hahaha!
Sigh… I guess when u get older u dont seem to get that senstive or picky anymore on days like this compared to when u were younger…
lol, I admit, sometimes I want it all too! But I’m saving those expectations for Christmas…lol, for Valentine’s day I want something that will make me fall in love with that person all over again, I’m a sucker for love letters!
You know, the first roses my boyfriend sent me were red roses and he bought me red roses for Valentine’s last year…I’m definitely not complaining because those were the ONLY times he’s gotten me flowers but I thought I was going to get red roses for the rest of my life…ahah, he’s changed it up a bit this time to symbolize the “blooming” of our relationship by going pastel …ahah, I love it that he’s a softy at heart. =D
There is definitely truth in that, we are desensitized by their lack of romance… lol, jk!
