I love this tutorial Xia did, I’m thrilled she’s given me permission to use it so sit up and pay attention, it’s time to play with make-up!

Before and After
Silver Eyes–I used MAC’s 2006 Holiday palette in Smokey Eyes. I already have my foundation, powder, and eyebrows on. I also curled my lashes.
Step 01: Apply primer on lids up to brows.

Step 02: Apply Rondelle with 239 brush onto inner corner of lid. Use a patting motion and lightly sweep towards outter lid.

**Note: Although I have folds on eyelids, my actual eye crease is where my brush is. That’s how high I know to bring my shadows up to.

Step 03: With the same brush, layer Silver Fog pigment ontop of Rondelle eyeshadow. For picture purposes, I layer colors.

**Note: When I work with pigments, I like to pile a bit of powder under my eyes to catch the fall-outs/shiny bits.

Step 04: Flip the 239 brush around and use the clean side to brush on Knight.

Using the same patting and sweeping motion, start from the outside of your eyes and work the color in towards the lighter color. Blend the two colors together by gently patting and sweeping in a zig zag motion where the two colors meet. This should be the result.

Step 05: With a blending brush, pick up a little bit of Dark Soul pigment and lightly dab it into the outer corner of your lids.

Use a window wiper motion to blend the colors in your crease.

Using the same blending brush, pick up a bit of Rondelle and swipe it onto your brow bone. Make sure to blend it a bit with Dark Soul to lighten up any harsh lines.

Step 06: Use the 212 brush to pick up Knight and use it to line your bottom lids. Blend it into Rondelle/Silver Fog.

Step 07: Use the 219 brush to apply Dark Soul onto your bottom outer lid. Blend it into Knight.

Sweep away loose powder with a big brush and this is how it should look like:

Step 08: Line your eyes — upper lids and lower rims with black liner. See the difference it makes?

Step 09: Put one coat of mascara on top and bottom lashes. What a difference, right?

Step 10: Final product! Clean up where needed and apply falsies if you wish. I didn’t because it was daytime =P

Step 11: Admire your work =)

I hope this was helpful! This is all basic stuff, just switch out the colors to create your own look. The only thing you need to practice is blending. As long as you can blend, you can do any look you want.
I look all crossed eye in my pictures, lol. It was hard trying not to!

Wow, I didn’t think it would be this quick! lol.
I wish I still had the time to play with my makeup. You should put your your makeup looks. You always look so pretty. =)
I work fast like that! ;D
eh, maybe…it always looks better in theory than on me though, gah!
Excellent tutorial! It’s amazing how much eyeshadow can transform things. I have never worn it because I feel like it’s too difficult to put it on without looking “overdone” but you’ve done a perfect job. K
