Jaime King and other pretty celebrities at various events

I can’t wait to see her in the movie The Spirit (from the director of Sin City and 300) out later this year!

She looks more wholesome as a brunette but I prefer the striking blond version of her more. I love the beaded flowers and fluff on her dress, very pretty and fanciful.

Jaime King at the CW/CBS/Showtime/CBS Television TCA party.

I thought she was Heather Graham at first glance…but no. What a gorgeous dress, although, I’m not completely sold on the color nor the lipstick combination.
January Jones at the 24th Annual Television Critics Association Awards Show.

I see Grecian and Egyptian influences, and “I like it, I like it uh lot.” I was forced to watch Dumb and Dumber yesterday so it’s still fresh on my mind. =d

Eva Padberg at the Elle Fashion Star awards ceremony.

Lol, all these movie references and so there had to be a red carpet movie premiere in here right! We almost went to see this movie yesterday after dinner but we were totally stuffed we could hardly breathe without undoing a button or two, let alone keep our eyes open for it; that was some good teppanyaki!

Amanda Peet at The X-Files: I Want to Believe world premiere in Hollywood.

Too much going on? Nope, not when it looks this fabulous! I love that she chose to wear lacey heels, another flattering design detail.

Party all the time?

False.

But we like to have a good time when we can! I’ve never really gotten into the leggings trend but I was desperate. I felt a little self-conscious at first being that it hugged every curve and crack there was but eventually I found it really comfortable…even sexy! =d

What a fun night we had! Drinks, dancing, and plenty of camera-whoring too!

After a few drinks we were ready to hit the dance floor. Check us out in the front, that is, if you can look past the gogo girls!

Doesn’t the bartender look like Timothy Olyphant from the movie Hitman? He was hot in a gay metrosexual way…just my type! muahah

Yer’s last night.

We went for some drinks and tasty appetizers! These two sisters are so cool and super sweet, I was delighted they included me in their fun festivities. Can’t wait til the next time!

Fun, chic, and sexy casual

Halle Berry

I cannot say enough about Halle Berry’s post pregnancy body, she looks sexier than ever! Whether it’s genetics, hardcore aerobics, or cosmetic surgery, I still have to hand it to her for showing off an amazingly resilient body. Look at those spectacular abs in this fun and loose ensemble!

Lindsay Price

Throwing on a great jacket can give casual attire a more sophisticated and chic look. I love this stylish jacket on her! I haven’t watched Lipstick Jungle yet but if it’s anything like Sex and the City, I’ll have to get to it one of these days!

Sarah Harding

Legs, I don’t have legs…well, of course I do have legs just not omg legs, you know. =p Anyhow, dressing down a sexy outfit by wearing edgy boots, now that’s hot!

Mix it Up…

*It’s Juelyie Lee and she’s guest blogging for me today! What I first noticed about her was that not only was she an exceptional beauty with a bright disposition, but her sense of style was super creative, fashion-forward, and always figure-flattering…all things I’d love to steal from her closet! Juelyie has also channeled her creativity into photography so check out her work on her website, Flutterbugphotos!

It took awhile, but this morning I found myself with some down time so I thought, why not make my first post!

Of course I wanted my first post to be a “Days of my Life” post, but seeing how I haven’t been able to take any pictures of myself lately on my way out the door, I decided to make this first post on Fashion. Particularly Hmong Clothes Fashion…

I’ve always had an interest in developing and furthering along our traditional clothes to a point where any age group could find themselves “wanting” to sport it without a prodding from their parents. I have to be the first to admit that I was not always so fond of the idea of wearing traditional clothes…especially not to the New Year celebrations because it was so “uncool”…LOL…if someone had told me then how much I’d love it now, I would have told them they were a few cards short of a full deck! No way was I EVER going to be caught wear all that “junk”…and especially not out where tons of people were going to see me!

But, here I am today and I’m LOVING it! And why not? When you can pretty much put any spin on it that you like? Why not make it fun and fashion forward?! So for a few years, I’ve been putting my own spin on it… I am proud to say that I love being an individual and not always part of the crowd…so why not show that I am a unique individual? A deviant of the norm? There’s something so satisfying about standing out from the crowd…and I’ve MIXED IT UP!

Pink in white Hmong Black with Red

Yer is pretty in pink

I love shooting outdoors, you can find the best props in everything around you.

The beautiful and photogenic Miss Yer came to visit a few weekends so of course it ended in a spur of the moment photo shoot! It was a lot of fun and her sexiness and care-free attitude was great to work off of.

Thanks so much for your time Yer!

This is one of my favorite pics!

We went to a few locations to take the pictures but this was one of my favorite spots. There was a small clearing within a mass of cleverly placed brush that called out to be used, I was absolutely thrilled with the end result.

After a quick wardrobe change.

I liked her in pink but I think bold colors really suit her.

We got quite a workout while looking for spots to shoot, patience and bottled water went a long way in getting us through it. =) There’s a few more pictures to share of Yer but I’ll post those later on in the week, enjoy these ones for now!

Smile for the camera baby!

…and with a few funny faces, it worked!

He fell into this position all by himself, how absolutely adorable! It’s my favorite photo of baby Jonathan from this weekend. I can’t believe he’s walking now; it only seems like yesterday we were passing him around from one person to another, like a tray of irresistible sweets. He turns one year old in another month, how time flies when you’re busy at play.^^

Adriana Lima and other leggy celebrities at various events

As much as I love seeing beautifully elaborate, down-to-the-floor and still trailing gowns, I also love the fun and flirtiness of above-the-knee dresses. Adriana Lima’s legs go on forever in this pretty outfit.

Adriana Lima arrives at the 2008 ESPY Awards.

I am partial to girly ruffles so this dress works for me and I think she looks great in it, that’s if I don’t look at her face too long. =/

Lindsay Lohan leaving her birthday party.

I love seeing this girl all dolled up, she’s even more gorgeous…if that’s even possible.

Halle Berry at the 36th AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to Warren Beatty.

She was in the movie Feast of Love in which she played a lesbian, I really liked it! -the movie that is!

Selma Blair on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I really adore this trapeze dress, very fetching! From the lace underlay to the barely there spaghetti straps, the dress is quite intriguing…

as are the shoes.

Photoshop fun

Yessiree it is! So here is a quick tutorial of how I got from point A to point B. You’ll have to know a little about photoshop to follow along but I’m not an expert by any means so once you’ve learned the basics, this will actually be very easy.

I added Photoshop Tips to the list of categories you can choose from. I like to experiment with photoshop so I’ll share that stuff here. Any advice, tips, or critiques are welcome as well!

You betcha I used the healing tool to get rid of some blemishes and freckles beforehand. =D

First of all I chose a picture that had the feature I wanted. I resized it so the images would be relatively the same.

Using the lasso tool, I drew a circle around the part I would be using and dragged it over to my picture.

I then pressed ctrl J to duplicate the layer and dragged the new layer over to the other eye. I used the erasure tool to clean up the area around the eyes to make sure it looked as natural as possible.

I downloaded some eyelash brushes and used them to give my eyes a more dramatic look. I used ctrl T (free transform) so I could shape and move the objects however I needed it.

And viola! …instant lashes!

Brushes are so cool! I probably could have done a better job shaping them but you get the idea.

For the lips I used the lasso tool again and feathered it at 3. Ctrl J to duplicate the layer. Then I lightly colored over the lips and set the mode to linear dodge. I then used a layer mask (since I didn’t outline the lips well) to bring back the color of the skin.

And I ended up with this…again, not perfect but I’m not going to be anal about things today since it’s Friday. =d

I used the dodge tool to make the whites of my eyes to make the eyes a little brighter. Then I did a quick level fix and now we have the finished product!

Anyways, I just wanted something up so if you’re bored this weekend you can try it out! I’m going to a few photography classes this weekend, yay! Have a great weekend everyone!

Children’s photography is rough business

We just bought a new reflector kit and I wanted to try it out so yesterday I had the bright idea to take pictures of the kids by where there was this pretty scenic area that had a nice big tree and bridge, about 3 blocks away.

I figured we’d just take a stroll on over and it would be a breeze but it darn well wasn’t! The heat and the sullen moods of my little misfits were not to be taken lightly; with talks of dying from heat exhaustion and dehydration at the top of their list of complaints, we finally got there but no more than 15 min later we were headed back home. =/

On the bright side, I did get a few decent pictures. =D

Check out the dwindling smile on Christian, who is in blue, as the pictures progress.

Aaron’s smile seemed locked in place though! =D

They can be a handful but the end result always makes it worth the effort. The children’s hair haven’t been cut yet so they look a bit scruffy but adorably so.

Sexy celebs at various social events

Do you ever wonder if these beautiful people were actually beautiful babies? Yeah, that was random but I’m curious to know. =d I have only ONE picture of myself as a baby and I’m glad my mom kept me because I was not all that cute, gotta love her!

Petra Nemcova presents the New Otto’s Catalogue in Hamburg Germany.

She is so reminiscent of classic Hollywood glamor girls and that era will always be remembered with a bit of awe and wonder.

Dita von Teese at the PokerStars.net Burlesque Party.

I remember her way back in the days of My So-Called Life, I didn’t particularly like her or the show but Jared Leto was so drool-worthy back then.

Claire Danes at the Gucci Fashion Show and Party.

Not an interesting movie to me but if the reviews are good perhaps I’ll go see it, maybe…maybe not…naw

Elizabeth Banks at the premiere of Meet Dave in Los Angeles.

She chose to wear a pair of gorgeous t-strap platform heels and the matching bangle and ring looked elegant and stylish.
