New year, same devotion to my beloved....camera!
So, what is on the list of to-dos this year? Just one thing really, enjoy it! I want to smile more and give others something to smile about, and that goes for laughs as well; it makes for better photo ops. =d I can't remember what we were laughing about in the picture but do you see what I mean? Good times.

I think your family pictures are priceless whether or not they look professional. Your baby girl alone makes the photos immensely special and unique. =D Some of my favorite pictures are nothing great in terms of technique but I just love them for the emotions they bring when looking at them! BUT in saying that, if you can afford a better camera, go for it! Also, you should invest in a wireless remote control, it works great for us.
But any who, to answer your question: We use speedlights along with umbrellas. I still have much to learn but the slight improvements to our pictures have been promising and exciting for me!
