Aishwarya Rai is breathtaking. The diamond necklace is love at first sight!

When I was younger, my sis-in-law would always watch Bollywood movies and I wondered what was so intriguing since she watched them regularly. But once I sat down to watch one with her, I was hooked as well! ahah. The women were gorgeous, the men were…hairy -er, manly, and their song and dance numbers were full of energy and drama. Not to mention I loved their luxurious and exotic garbs; I wanted a sari so badly for the longest time!

Anyone have a favorite India/Bollywood movie they want to recommend? I’m long overdue for another fascinating drama.

Oh there are heaps of movies ( musical, non-musical)
If you like the exquisite costumes then I would highly recommend the following:
Devdas (new)
Saawariya.
Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gum.

  I have to admit that one of the reasons I love old Hollywood movies are because the leading ladies ALWAYS looked and dressed so glamorously. ahah. I am a stickler for an amazing (ooh and aaah worthy reactions) wardrobe collection when it comes to movies. I figure if the actors aren’t wowing me with their performances, then at least I can suffer through the movie if I like something else about the it…like the wardrobe. =D
