Just wanted to throw up a few more pics from our trip to the Cherry Blossoms. As I continue to experiment shooting in different environments… I find myself loving the outdoor “natural studio” more than the typical indoor studio (specifically outdoor strobing). It’s strange though, I’m not a huge fan of shooting outdoor landscapes… I find it a bit boring… but throw in an interesting subject and my chinky eyes open up; I am really enjoying shooting people on location outdoors.
The next on-location shoot I’m looking forward to is a shoot on a dry desert lake bed. I can picture it already… the sunset, clouds, and the GF in a flowy dress standing on the cracked desert lake bed. I told her the next weekend we see clouds in the sky, we’re taking a road trip out to the desert!!
Anyways, here are a few more pics… just b’cuz they were staring at me on my desktop.

Just wanted to show how beautiful the blossom clusters were.

Thanks for reading, and as always.. feel free to leave comments, suggestions or any questions. Even though this stuff is still relatively new to me, I’m more than willing to share anything that might be helpful for anyone interested.

Great job! You two really inspire me to pick up my camera and start practicing again. I can’t wait until the cherry blossoms bloom here.
