Make-up Magic by May

group party Make up Magic by May

While I was in MN with my sister, May, we donned our hottest outfits (actually, they were pretty tame considering what kids are wearing these days) and headed out for a night on the town. And what a waste that was! Some idiot forgot their ID. Complete dork. But enough about me. =/

My favorite part of the night was getting my make-up done by May! I haven't experimented with the stuff in a while so seeing all the colorful and sparkly eye shadows to play with were so ooooh and aaaah-some - gotta love doing them girly rituals!

May worked her magic on me and I absolutely loved the transformation! Although I have to admit, at first glance, my image in the mirror slightly reminded me of an attractive transvestite but once I got over that, my main business of the night was to find as many reflective surfaces as I could and spend some quality time staring at myself.

The products she used to create this look:
* "Painterly" paint pot - base all over eyelid
* "Black track" fluidline - to create that darker base color on crease
* Eyeshadow colors used - Golden Olive pigment, Fushia pigment, Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow, Sea and Sky mineralize eyeshadow
* Nylon eyeshadow - highlight color
* The lipstick was called Myth; lip gloss was called Luminary
* All MAC products

I wish we would have taken a picture of my make-over because all I have is this blurry enlargement from the few that we took in the club. You get the idea though. =) If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

    Hi Simplenchic,

    Thank you! I wish I could do this on my own but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like the results so I’ll leave it to the professionals and stick with my ‘naturalness’ technique – much to Ty’s chagrin. ahah

    Hi Ying,

    He’s the boyfriend of one of the girls in the picture but I don’t blame you for not noticing at first. All that eye candy in the front row can be very distracting! lol!

    With make-up is definitely a major improvement but thank you. =)
