Two small boys were playing together under the shade of a gnarly tree while their parents, seated comfortably on the front porch, kept watch over them. This was the scene that greeted Babes and I when we arrived. A future glimpse of a harmonious family life for us perhaps? We shared a smile and a jab (he better change a few diapers). We had a moment.
And then it ended....
"Do you know how to ice skate?" "There's a worm outside, want to see it?!" "Watch me skip and stomp!" Wow, there was a whole lotta chatter that went down but it also goes without saying that there wasn't a dull moment during our photo session with Viola, who just happens to be the beautiful mother of two very boisterous but adorably engaging boys. Viola is 7 months pregnant and expecting a baby girl! I am so thrilled for her, congrats! Below are several pictures that were taken.

OMG K, I’ve been wanting to get dolled up and take pictures with my bump but haven’t had time. I’m so jealous. Lovely photos! Congrats to Viola =)

Yes, it’s a must! lol, but seriously, I think pregnancy is such a beautiful and precious time in a woman’s life and it’s a shame not to capture it at least once during that time. I cannot wait to see your pictures, I know you will look absolutely radiant.
I loved taking pictures of Viola. She was such an ideal person to photograph because her skin and make-up were flawless! Many props to pregnant ladies who still make the effort to look nice during their 9 month sentence. =p

These are cute! I wish I can take the same quality of pics. Alas, I only have a D40. :-/
Thanks for the comment Meream. You can do just fine with the D40, it is a very capable camera. It is more about Lens and Lighting.
We took several pictures with our D40 as well… you can find them on previous posts. Don’t let camera gear get in the way of your creative eye! =)
