I went to visit my Sister and her family in Portland a few weeks ago. It was my first time in Portland, and wow it is beautiful up there. The blanket of green is such a refreshing contrast from the muddy brown hue of Southern California.
While I was there, my nephew Eric mentioned he needed to submit senior pictures… so i decided to take them out for a quick shoot. I didn’t bring any gear with me except my Nikon D700 w/ trusty 50mm 1.8 lens. The shots were taken under natural light.

Thanks Youa, yes next time I’m in the Portland area I must set aside time to take more pictures, it’s too naturally beautiful not to.
