Au naturale lighting

We found the perfect little grassy corner to practice shooting under natural light. It was a small landscaped grassy section alongside a small hill that blocked out the setting sun. The ideal condition for natural light shooting outdoors is always under a shade (or at best an overcast gray day… the clouds become a huge softbox, creating the perfect diffused light).

Gear used:

Nikon D700
Nikon 50mm/f1.8
natural light – FREE!

I love these pictures. I dont know if you(Kay) meant to wear that purple but it really makes the picture pop and gives it great contrast especially since its a rich jewel-toned hue.
