Yay, I finally got around to doing my SAG Awards fashion post! At the Golden Globes we saw a ton of sexy but lackluster black dresses so fortunately for this event they lightened up the mood -but not the color spectrum! There were lively shades of red and purple and everything in between. Bare necks gave way for dresses to shine on their own and for us accessory lovers we lucked out because there was still plenty of dazzling trinkets (even worn in the hair!) to keep us thoroughly engaged. I love me some pretty junk!
This time around there was a little something for everyone it seemed; a variety of dresses ranging from soft and flowy to sparkly and embellished to patterned fabrics. One of my absolute favorites was Mariana Klaveno in a fabulous red ruffled chiffon gown by L.A. designer Ina Soltani. It made her skin just glow! She looked breathtaking and a bit like Snow White..or how I imagine she’d look like at least. =d I am also in love with Vera Farmiga in her pretty pale blue J.Mendel dress! This designer is one to watch, I adore his work!
Let’s get the show started, enjoy the MEGA dress pictures below and let me know which dress(es) you fell over yourself for! =d My next fashion post will be on the 2010 Grammys so check back for it!

Diane Kruger in a mustard chiffon one shoulder gown by Jason Wu. She channels classic Hollywood screen siren like no body’s business…glam-or-ous!
marion cotillard, Penelope Cruz, michelle monaghan, Jana Kramer
Stana Katic in a sexy backless Oday Shakar dress. The woman is so tall and statuesque!
Sofia Vergara, Nicole Kidman, Samantha Harris, Helen Mirren
Christina Applegate in an icy blue Roberto Cavalli dress. I love the attention to details on this dress, front to back, it’s a stunner!
Sandra Bullock, Sarah Hyland, Jenna Fischer, toni collette
Julie Benz, Drew Berrymore, Paula Patton
Anna Kendrick in Alberta Ferretti. What a great color, she really stands out in the frilly dress.
Holly Hunter, Deborah Ann Woll, Lauren Sanchez
jane krakowski, Mariah Carey, Adrianna Costa, Courtney Ford
Mariana Klaveno, Christina Hendricks, Jayma Mays, Carey Mulligan
Kate Hudson in Emilio Pucci. The dress gives the appearance of broad shoulders but is balanced out by also making her look long and slender. Talk about back side…what a sexy back curve she has!
Niecy Nash, Dianna Agron, Katrina Bowden
Vera Farmiga in J. Mendel. She is practically floating on the red carpet…such femininity! I really like her subtle and understated style.

i’m so amazed at how sexy and delicious these dresses look on these women!!! i love it!
Diane Kruger gets my vote for best dress. The color is definitely different and the biggest risk in wearing the dress but she pulled it off. It could have gone bad.
Diane Kruger has my vote as well, she looks amazing! However, that J Mendel dress is absolutely ridiculous (in a good way), just gorgeously ethereal. And Vera Farmiga pulls it off quite well. AND did I mention that I love her bling?!
Love all of them!
