I thought I’d share this video with you guys. Our planned photo shoot was interrupted by something beyond our control. What surprised us was that during the whole day, everything was leading up to a nice afternoon lol. I hope you get a kick out of this video… it was shot with our Nikon D90 video mode.
The photos to this eventual shoot will be posted soon =).
Click through to see the video. (you can hear the hail pounding the car @ 1:43 mark)
Crazy mid-western weather huh?! We were caught in an instant tornado warning within minutes… Has this ever happened to you to ruin a special day? Let us know your story below in the comments section.

Enjoy working with you both. some day i’ll head up towards that way for a shoot again

hmmm I don’t know what’s worst: an earthquake w/o warning… or an incoming tornado you can’t avoid.
How scary!! I still have nightmares of weather excatly like then when I was little and living over there. I can still remember seeing tornado clouds coming in and many times when we had to run down to the basement. Glad you guys are safe!
LOL! You two are so funny and cute! Typical Midwest weather. I’ve pretty much lived here my whole life. Nothing ceases to surprise me anymore. Maybe that’s a sign that I should relocate….hrm…
Oh no…. I hope the car was ok! Yes, cazy mid-western weather, LOL.
It was quite the day! Now when I think about it- we were pretty lucky there wasn’t a tornado! :S
