I love cultural weddings because you are always surrounded by so much love between friends and family. We first met Hai and Lynne for their engagement session on the riverfront and we were looking forward to their traditional Vietnamese wedding ever since. We knew the day would be full of vibrant laughter, smiles and cherished moments and were so excited for the two of them. There is just something classic and timeless about a lacy dress. And Lynne looked simply stunning in it. Loved her dress!

As part of the traditional Vietnamese wedding, the morning started early with the procession of the groom’s family to the bride’s family to formally receive the bride.

I love cultural weddings because the celebration never ends! After the bride is received, everyone heads to the groom’s family for another ceremony (with much fanfare.. fireworks!)

Lynne and Hai’s beautiful reception was held at the Ambridge Center in the heart of Portland,OR. I loved the uplit drapery that decorated the walls of the ballroom.

The videographer is friends of the groom. BTW, he’s getting married this year and we’re also photographing his wedding! Yay!

The party games were intense! Definitely lots of fun.
