We were so happy to be a part of Mao and Lee’s beautiful and love-filled Midwestern wedding. Sometimes we get couples who go above and beyond to make us feel completely comfortable and welcomed and they are certainly one of these couples. We are blessed to have gotten to know them–over a bowl of delicious homemade pho!–and to be there to photograph one of their most special days. Speaking of amazing people, we were referred to them by Mao’s cousins, the lovely Bao and Bao (who also did all the floral arrangements, talented lady that she is)! Yes, they have the same name but are two entirely different and wonderful gals so just wanted to thank them for thinking of us for such a close and personal occasion. Love you guys!

Mao and Lee’s wedding was held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and what a beautiful place to hold their ceremony.

Mao has such a sweet and tender soul. She hand sewed a purple heart onto her wedding dress, keeping her loved ones passed close to her heart on this sweetest of days.

One of the things I love about their ceremony venue the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, was the beautiful stonework both outside and inside the building.

Totally forgot about this tidbit (thanks Bao for reminding me) but Mao made all the bridesmaids’ necklaces & earrings by hand–what a sweetheart! =)

Yes, Mao made the cake toppers herself, even tied a full-on knot for the neck-tie!
