We were so happy to be a part of Mao and Lee’s beautiful and love-filled Midwestern wedding. Sometimes we get couples who go above and beyond to make us feel completely comfortable and welcomed and they are certainly one of these couples. We are blessed to have gotten to know them–over a bowl of delicious homemade pho!–and to be there to photograph one of their most special days. Speaking of amazing people, we were referred to them by Mao’s cousins, the lovely Bao and Bao (who also did all the floral arrangements, talented lady that she is)! Yes, they have the same name but are two entirely different and wonderful gals so just wanted to thank them for thinking of us for such a close and personal occasion. Love you guys!
Mao and Lee’s wedding was held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and what a beautiful place to hold their ceremony.
Mao has such a sweet and tender soul. She hand sewed a purple heart onto her wedding dress, keeping her loved ones passed close to her heart on this sweetest of days.
Mao looked absolutely stunning in her lace wedding gown!
Loved this photo of her nieces watching closely as she wrote a special note to her husband to be.
Her sweet gift that held something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. =)
This is how I want all grooms to be on their wedding day…giddy with joy! Looking dapper Lee!
One of the most tender and sweetest moments we’ve been a part of. Got a little choked up.
One of the things I love about their ceremony venue the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, was the beautiful stonework both outside and inside the building.
Totally forgot about this tidbit (thanks Bao for reminding me) but Mao made all the bridesmaids’ necklaces & earrings by hand–what a sweetheart! =)
Yes, Mao made the cake toppers herself, even tied a full-on knot for the neck-tie!
What’s the best way to cool off all the party people?… the Jacobson Sprinkler!
Mao & Lee:
You both had us from the start with your sweet and endearing ways. Wishing you all the happiness there is and may your married life be everything that you imagined and more. And please do keep writing those beautiful letters to one another!
Last photo is pure fun and so them!
