Guess what? This was one of the sessions we didn’t provide a sneak peek for! But even though we didn’t give a sneak peek, this was one of our favorite senior portrait sessions for sure. When you have a super willing senior, a super cool prop, a super cool backdrop and a super cool set of photogs (shameless plug ;p)… everything adds up to form a sporty (you’ll see why later) and fun-loving session.
When we met with Julia, Mk, and Sumalee I knew we were in for a great session; our first few conversations revolved around fashion so of course, what’s not to love? =D During the shoot, I really enjoyed capturing the special bond that these sisters had; they were so encouraging of one another and created a fun dynamic trio. It made me think about my own sisters and how much I look forward to spending time with them…you know you’re getting old when you WANT to be around your crazy family! lol. Sisters truly are wonderful for many reasons, but especially for sharing laughter…and clothes!

I just started my own knit shop on Etsy and would like to know what camera you would suggest for a beginner doing photo shoots in and outside featuring knit items like hats, scarves, etc on models…. What do you think of the Nikon D3100? I like the D90 but I am having problems finding one:-( I like the same feel of your photos. and I love the vintage/Boho look also.
Engagement sessions have always been one my favorite things to shoot. Why you might ask? Because I am a hopeful romantic and never get tired of seeing couples SO IN LOVE! Often times people find it awkward to look at each other over and over, but with newly engaged couples -it’s the opposite! Kajua (KJ) and John were awesome to be around because of the wonderful bond they share with one another. They met in college and have had eyes for each other ever since. These college sweethearts were full of laughs and sweet smooches during the shoot…I had so many ‘awwww’ moments with them, love them! Read through to see more from their session.
It’s been a while since we’ve posted a blog with pictures galore in it…and even longer then since our fun afternoon with Marina and Joon (Hi guys!) and their cute little boys. When we first met up, Marina warned us multiple times with kids gone wild stories of her oldest son Baron. And true to her words, big brother Baron was here and there and usually not where he was suppose to be lol =p…but you know what? As unpredictable as he was, we love kids with an abundance of energy and personality…they make great and entertaining photos! Take a peek into our day spent with this awesome family. =)
