One of the more superficial reasons for loving this holiday is trimming the tree! May and I love to go ornament shopping…it’s not for everyone but for us, it’s like kids at an amusement park. We’re looking everywhere in awe and touching everything we can get our hands on! Just like amusement park rides though, it’s not for the faint-hearted. =p

This past week we ended up decorating her revolving tree. Yes, revolving tree. Which meant twice the decorations to buy. To the poor house we go!

We had a silver, gold, and pale pink theme for the traditional tree…
oh and snowflakes! I’m starting a snowflake collection…why not?!

PINK TREE! Again, why not?! It’s really growing on me…

Baby Jon Christmas 2007

This is one of my most favorite pictures of Babes with his nephew. They both share these similarities, round cheeks and a belly…cute, and not really. Anyhow, I am so glad we decided to invest in a decent camera. I’m trying to persuade my sister to get one since I hardly see them and so I live for picture updates.

Christmas brings together loved ones from near and far.

I’m thankful Babes was able to spend Christmas with his entire family this year; he hasn’t seen his sister’s kids in a few years. The kids were great. I didn’t even have to twist any arms or legs to get these pictures, thanks guys!

How sad it is not to be a kid on Christmas Day! ahah

But, I really enjoyed seeing all the happy (and not so happy = clothes) faces of the kids opening their presents. Baby Jonathan was a delight; he practically opened all of his own presents as well as helped others with theirs. =D

Silver and gold decorations on ev’ry Christmas tree,

….but upon closer inspection, we found it to be a little boring so we threw in some red decorations as well and viola! We bought our tree only a week ago since last year, right after Thanksgiving, we had eagerly set out to get it and by Christmas it was ready for tree heaven. Nice watering job Babes! =/ This year though, I have been very vigilant in it’s care…by being more optimistic, hooray!
