Road trip: Napa Valley
Even though I’m not a big wine lover, I’ve always wanted to go to Napa Valley (yay, I can now scratch it off my bucket list) and of course it was as lovely as I’d imagined it to be…never-ending stretches of budding grapes and each winery more interesting than the next. While there we were [...]

Road trip: San Francisco
We’re on a road trip to the Pacific Northwest and hope to share it with all of you! Our first stop? Good old San Francisco. The city reminds me of Chicago… only with a gazillion more bridges and tolls. =p The weather tried its best to ruin our day, but luckily it cleared up just [...]
Grand Canyon snapshots
While the rest of the guys stayed in Las Vegas, Kay and I decided to make the drive up to the Grand Canyon. I know huh? What were they thinking, not wanting to see the Grand Canyon!!? Although we had been there before, Kay and I were pretty excited to walk on the newly built [...]
Portland Asian gardens visit
Last month I was in the Portland area visiting family. In between the rainy days, we found time to visit the Portland Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden. Although the Chinese garden was smaller than expected, it was still rich with beautiful artifacts and very full of culture. The volunteer tour guide was very knowledgeable and [...]

Today, we explored the National Palace Museum of Taiwan and was able to view at a lot of beautiful ancient [...]

City life in Taipei
We explored an outskirt town the other day, so this time we checked out the downtown city life. One thing we noticed right away... there are a lot of scooters, and a lot of 7-elevens mini marts. Here are some pics.
Taiwan reminds me of Chicago
Taiwan has the downtown city life like Chicago, but not the hustle and bustle feel like New York. But anyways, we landed safely! I was worried because of the Typhoon.. but fortunately things cleared up. As promised here are LOTS of pics. This is just from our first day! We'll keep on updating as the [...]
We’re heading out to China!
We'll be flying out to visit the motherland in a few weeks! I can't wait to take some (hopefully) nice shots of the Great Wall, Forbidden City and Olympic village. Kay and I will be flying out with a friend of ours who's been to China multiple times already.
Our itinerary so far is to [...]
