He caught me completely by surprise!

For my birthday this weekend Babes took me to the new Broadway musical Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz. I’ve always been apprehensive of any kind of spin-offs but once I got inside I was overcome with excitement that that didn’t even matter at all. I enjoyed the new spin on the tale, it was a fun and memorable experience!

The Phantom of the Opera is definitely on my list of must-see Broadway shows. I just love, love, love the music and story.

Christmas flowers from fiorifloral

Just so you know family (those that read this) my budget is mostly non-existent this year so you will all be receiving Christmas cards, yay! Can’t get any better than getting a picture of me! ahaha

Although I won’t be home for Christmas, I must get my mommy something because I only have one of those to shop for…hehe. I’m not quite sure what to get her yet but I was watching My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding (I’m so addicted to wedding shows) and then ta da! during commercials there was one for holiday floral arrangements! They would make a great gift while they last and besides how often do you give someone something only to be told, “I don’t know what happened to it, I really liked it too, darn it!” Picky biotches ! =p So yeah, it’ll end up in the garbage just the same but in this case, it’s suppose to, so no hard feelings! ahaha

Victoria’s Secret Runway show tomorrow on CBS

Victoria’s Secret fashion shows are probably THEE hottest runway shows ever! Every year they come up with new enchanting themes to keep you mesmerized…er, although the models do a good job of that as well…sexy biatches, except for Noami Campell who is just a crazy biatch, hopefully she’s not in this years show. But guess who is bringing sexy back? The Spice Girls! I’ve always been a fan of the Spice Girls (what?! girl power! nuff said) so I’m looking forward to seeing them perform as well as seeing Heidi Klum rock the runway. She has such charisma and looks great as an ornament, that is one perfect snowflake! When man imitates nature, sometimes it can be a beautiful thing…just remember to throw a model into the mix.

Two of my favorite things; Aaron standing by our tree!

Now that thanksgiving is over, it’s only a few short weeks until christmas arrives! Me and the boyfriend took his nephew with us to go shop for a christmas tree. I’ve never had a real tree at my house before because I’ve always had the silly notion that a grouchy bird or squirrel might come flying out at me when least expected. Also, my cousins had one many years ago but I swear it was only 4 feet at the most and had but a few branches on it…I really wasn’t all that impressed. But the one we settled on was an 8-9 foot noble fir which was very plump and symmetrical so that got me excited about bringing it home to decorate the good-looking shrub. =D

Before I start gushing about weddings, if you haven’t noticed I’ve been doing a few backpostings to catch you all up on some of the interesting events of this past year for me so go read them! After this post I’ll be able to update you on current events and such.=)

On this joyous day I was able to attend my bf’s brother’s wedding with his long time girlfriend. It was no surprise that the two would eventually end up tying the knot but it really hit me, on their wedding day, that these two people were giving themselves to each other for the rest of their lives…cliche as it is to say, it was a beautiful thing!

(crap…I’m starving and my mind is blank; I need some food for thought, I’ll be right back. *edit: much better, my stomach is hanging over my pants now, ugh!)

I love weddings; from the walk down the aisle, to wedding dress, to the table arrangements and food, I love all the little details that go into wedding planning. OK ok…I’ll post in a future blog about this little obsession…
