Photoshop fun
Yessiree it is! So here is a quick tutorial of how I got from point A to point B. You’ll have to know a little about photoshop to follow along but I’m not an expert by any means so once you’ve learned the basics, this will actually be very easy.
I added Photoshop Tips to the list of categories you can choose from. I like to experiment with photoshop so I’ll share that stuff here. Any advice, tips, or critiques are welcome as well!
You betcha I used the healing tool to get rid of some blemishes and freckles beforehand. =D

First of all I chose a picture that had the feature I wanted. I resized it so the images would be relatively the same.

Using the lasso tool, I drew a circle around the part I would be using and dragged it over to my picture.

I then pressed ctrl J to duplicate the layer and dragged the new layer over to the other eye. I used the erasure tool to clean up the area around the eyes to make sure it looked as natural as possible.

I downloaded some eyelash brushes and used them to give my eyes a more dramatic look. I used ctrl T (free transform) so I could shape and move the objects however I needed it.

And viola! …instant lashes!

Brushes are so cool! I probably could have done a better job shaping them but you get the idea.

For the lips I used the lasso tool again and feathered it at 3. Ctrl J to duplicate the layer. Then I lightly colored over the lips and set the mode to linear dodge. I then used a layer mask (since I didn’t outline the lips well) to bring back the color of the skin.

And I ended up with this…again, not perfect but I’m not going to be anal about things today since it’s Friday. =d

I used the dodge tool to make the whites of my eyes to make the eyes a little brighter. Then I did a quick level fix and now we have the finished product!

Anyways, I just wanted something up so if you’re bored this weekend you can try it out! I’m going to a few photography classes this weekend, yay! Have a great weekend everyone!
